I come from a family of writers and also have a background in dance and choreography, working in all aspects of the entertainment industry, from stage to film and television. As far removed this industry might seem from the world of proofreading, I was able to develop passions and skills within this industry that I was able to carry over onto my next career as a proofreader. Having studied courses and gained qualifications both in proofreading and in teaching English as a foreign language—as well as being an avid reader—I also gained knowledge of the intricacies of the English language and the mechanics of proofreading. I am a huge lover of travel, adventure, nature and exploring, as well as having a thirst for always wanting to learn something new.
